About Frankford Hall

Frankford Hall is a belgian-style beer garden and restaurant on Fishtown’s popular Frankford Avenue. It appeals to visitors for its large air spaces, both indoor and outdoor. The indoor Frankford Ave-facing side has large windows that rotate up during nice weather to create a hybrid indoor/outdoor experience.

Exposed brick throughout gives Frankford Hall a rugged aesthetic and preserves some of Fishtown’s history. The backside has a large outdoor area with benches and tables. Floor to ceiling garage doors are opened on nice weather days to allow visitors to move freely throughout.

The beer selection is diverse but definitely has a Belgian influence, with most beers available in half or full liter mugs. A food window serves up burgers, brats and an assortment of sides (and soft-serve ice cream!).

There’s one TV (Frankford Hall is not an ideal location for watching sports) but Jenga and board games are in abundance, as well as foosball, ping pong and shuffleboard.

Frankford Hall hosts a number of its own events, and also participates in local Fishtown street festivals hosted on Frankford Avenue.

Every October, Frankford Avenue shuts down to host a giant Oktoberfest street festival featuring beer and food vendors, plus music and local artisans.
